Steve Jobs 2009 Salary $1 - No Bonus No iPhone?

Q: What? A: Apple chief executive Steve Jobs was paid his customary $1 annual salary in 2009. Q: No bonus this year? A: Bonus is a kind of ugly word these days. And the answer is no - Jobs does not get a bonus or reimbursement for perks that many other CEOs accept, such as personal security, according to a regulatory filing [document]. Q: Just $1 a year, nothing more? A: Apple said it reimbursed Jobs a compensation for company travel on his $90 million Gulfstream V jet [Spyshots via TUAW], which he received as a bonus in 1999. That's far less than the $871,000 Apple reimbursed Jobs in 2008. The CEO took nearly six months off in 2009 for medical leave, during which time he received a liver transplant. He returned to work at the company's Cupertino, California, headquarters part-time at the end of June. Q: Poor CEO of the decade? A: Hmm na!  Jobs, 54, holds 5.5 million shares of Apple's stock [document]. He has not sold any shares since he rejoined the company in 1997, nor has he been awarded any new equity since 2003. That means with todays stock price he owns over 1 billion dollar on Apple shares. If that is enough, Jobs is also the largest individual shareholder of The Walt Disney Co. - You know, Mickey Mouse -, His 7.4% stake is currently worth about $4.5 billion.

All in One Box: Playback Blue Ray Disc and any Downloaded (Piratebay) Movies

Many people who just bought a big flat panel HD 1080p TV struggle with this: all kind of old boxes with cables. An old SD mediaplayer, dvd homecinema, cable modem, Radio receiver. What you really really want is to get rid of these media player boxes and replace (as much as possible) with one single box which is capable to store and play all your legacy low res movies and capable to play all HD content dowloaded via internet, the support any media container type like .mkv, mp4 just anything! Well there are some capable boxes for this thanks to new chipsets like Nvidia's ION, which can playback HD content smoothly and where you also can play 'physical' blue ray disc from the store. All that in a small and silent box! I think I will go for the Asrock ION 330 Or the Acer Revo R3600. This review video is where is is all about: Can it all play BBC Planet Earth's 'birdscené' smoothly?  Both systems a shown - The ION 330 vs Revo R3600. Note that the Revo has no Blue Ray player on board.

The problem was nobody has a free 4 Gbyte USB stick to get formated for a "bootable browser", most of the people has an older 1 Gbyte USB stick in the closet, but the image doesn't fit. Then there was the Chrome OS Diet, a bootable image that fits in the 1 Gbyte USB stick yohooo! Bad luck, the wireless network card is not always supported. Today there is improvement. The Chrome OS Cherry is also a <1Gbyte bootable USB image, but with broad range of wireless network card support, so your laptop netbook wireless card could be supported by cherry!
